Sorry I don't have a pic handy but I adapted the original s**** style out of my 34 Ford truck. Small compact and looks great.

I found a cool skull belt buckle at Spencers a few years ago. Cut it up and mounted it over my s**** pedal. His lower jaw moves and jingles sometimes.

Im making one from a metal skate wheel. When you press on it, it rolls a little under your foot. I think it looks cool.

As you can see, I have cleverly lengthened, shortened, raised, bent, ground and drilled till it feels pretty good. What do you think of the spot I marked to locate the cruise control? Anybody know the sweet spot? In relation to the s****.

  12. Here we go...
Swap meet pedal ***embly mounted on inside firewall. Ground off part of the left arm and welded on a large washer. Other end attached to the throttle shaft and out through the firewall. Works great!
Not really happy with the washer thing and plan to replace it with maybe a real s**** with drilled holes....

    Actually not.

I dig the washer. Everybody's got a s****, even me.

Can't go wrong with a s****...they leave ya so much foot room... That's a plus for me as I'm trying to fit my 13's around the column on the coupe.

I have a gas pedal out of an old sterling truck, cast ally, with a heel rest, "sterling" lettering.. and fairly narrow... I'll snap a picture of it when I get back to the shop.. it's pretty cool..

I took a cheap new s**** unit, flipped the pedal side of it upside down and welded a bung to the bottom and used a deluxe 32 pedal to complement the other two. Painted it shiny black to match the interior. Simple and cheap!

I've got one of the cheapie s**** types that has a knurled shaft and allen to adjust the pedal position. Under $15 in polished chrome finish.
