Some of you may remember my 23 Studebaker roadster up for trade in the cl***ifieds. Well I ended up trading outside the HAMB, but for a HAMBer built car. The 27 T Coupe built by "v8" also featured in burnout mag's ******** Hot Rods and Kustoms. The roadster went to a good home though. The new owner's is a lurker, Whats up greg introduce youself, and take good care of my roadster. Anyway here it is with the eddie meyer of the stude and some hellings style cleaners. I got big plans for this one. Love it or hate it ya gotta admitt its damn cool, and not nearly as hard to drive as you would think. Enjoy. Drew Oh yeah sorry its a little dirty, I was playing in the rain last night, after I got it runnin again.
Thats awesome man. I have seen pics of that car and it looks *****in. Good for you. Drive the hell out of it.... Joe
Is that one of those crybaby dolls that the street rodders put with their cars? Very killer car, I like it. Is the back window area flaired out at the top? Kinda looks like it. That mother has got to be low down, when a toddler is almost as tall as it is...
Oh yeah, Drove it to work today(on base) as you can see the post decal taking up half my windshield, and got pulled over last weekend, thought I was toast, and the cop just wanted to ask me questions, and sit in it . said he always wanted a Real Hot Rod, but never got around to it. Laters. Drew
Thats my little girl gabby shes almost 3. Sorry, I'm a bit of a proud dad. The back window is normal its just the angle I shot the pic at. But that gives me an idea.hmmmm
Hell, I think it's great to take pics of your cars with your youngins. Many years from now, she can show that pic to her kids, and tell them what a maniac their grandpa is. And of course the kids will have that image burned into their brains, and want something like that when they get older, and that's how the circle keeps rollin..
car looks fantastic man! I got to stop seeing pictures of chopped t's that look this *****in.. get's my sawzall trigger finger itching.. Those shots with your daughter is priceless!
Looks like a decent trade to me. BTW, who's the cutie that posed for the pictures? OPPS!! Just read the whole thread. You've got one cute little one there and you have every right to be proud. I just had my wife take a look and she gasped, saying she looks just like her little sister when she was that age. Word of advice, don't trade HER, no matter what the deal is. Unless you'd consider a '32 2dr, a '32 roadster, a '32 5w, a '34 PU, and a '48 PU, and everything I have in my 401K as a down payment. Frank
Was'nt that car on ebay a while back? I dont know what big changes you are have in mind, but if I had that car I'd leave it just the way it is. Awesome car! -Good luck, Dean
Fess up Drew. We both know that car ain't chopped. Your daughter is 6'2. I'd give ya some **** for how many cars ya go through but I'd be the pot and you'd be the kettle. Ya got good taste. I dig it.
that car kicks ***. there was one similar to it in Street Rodder about a year, year and a half ago with a similar stance and chop that's been burned in my brain ever since. d
Holy **** that's one tough mofo. I love that thing.... as soon as I gain a lil more experience, I wanna build a fenderless T like that. That is just straight bad*** man.
That is a great car. I saw that car featured in "********" and really like the proportions of it. No disrespect to the previous owner, but I would take off the wood roof. It looks out of place and removing it would turn that monster into a ******* ride, and that would be a whole lot of fun (and vastly improve your view of the world). I'd also paint it, but in the end it's your car now, and we'll look forward to seeing more of it here. Enjoy.
The big changes Drew speaks of are going to be real cool. Day after Roundup - the fun begins on this T. I always thought that was a *****en car - looks even better sitting here in Texas. I do have to say that I am glad I didn't have to drive it back from San Diego - although I secretly wish I had.
The roof is removable, but I think it just looks tuffer with a lid. Hey scoob, I think I'm gonna keep this one around for awhile(unless another g***er project comes my way that I cant say no to). I'll try to shoot the pics for ya when I get a chance. And the big plan, well it ain't real drastic, I kinda wanna keep it somewhat in the form of how it was built, just wanna make it better. Hey Jason, I'm glad for you too that this thing didn't need to roadtrip it, that would've been a long ride. Even though that would've been bad***. Thanks for looking out Brother.
That is a cool trade! I was watching that thing sell on E bay and wish it wasn't so far away to get it. Have fun this summer with it!
That car looks bad ***! I think some matching wire wheels on the back would look cool... but other than that... I'd leave it be. Sam.
Lemme see a shot of the grill,i got a thing for T coupes .Love your car that is one EVIL ride you have there.
