    go to www.g503.com
click on the message boards on the left side of the page, then scroll down to the 1/2 to 1-ton truck section (it may even say m-37).Tons of info on them there. They are beasts but do have some issues paculiar to military vehicles rom that era. Good luck!!

Governed 6, 5:83 ratio, and a weight of 6000-7000 pounds. Oh, and the aerodynamics of a brick. Not made for hot-rodding.

0-50 mph in a day. That being said, they are a cool 4wd with a place in history.

I don't know much about them but you might find some help here. Neat trucks, but not very quick.

You cant outrun alot of things. But you can climb a wall if you need to.

  11. They have a 24 volt system and head lights are a little expensive. The axles are different length than the civilians. The spark plugs and distributors are water proof. They have snorkels and an exhaust stack for forgining water crossings. The transfer case is two speed. The transmission is a four speed. They have canvas tops or fibergl***.

Vintage power wagons in Iowa sells a lot of parts and whole trucks. I have always had a good experience buying from them. The owner is Dave Butler. The run of the mill m-37 sells for about $2900.00. That seemed to be the going price for a long time. I have not checked the price for a long time.

Dave has gone overseas and brought a lot power wagons back to the states. I think there is a French version too.

Power Wagon advertiser is a publication about Power Wagons.

would make a cool work truck, hauling firewood and such. It would be fun to own one, drive it to work if you live close, and just generally knock around in.

Definately NOT hotrod material, i saw one online somewhere that had been ratrodded...ew.

We had one on our volunteer F. D. for a few years. They are heavy and slow with lousy brakes and manual steering. Good for slow off road work. Best to run bald tires to slow it from churning itself into soft ground or mud. Once you stick it it's really stuck. We were glad to get rid of it.
