Yes it the stock rear bumper. I just pinched it a little and made a kustom apron to flow with the pinched bumper.

I dig how the Sombrero actually sits inside the wheel. I'd run em in a heartbeat! If they are half as nice as the other set you made for me I imagine I'll being seeing a set of these in my future. Whats the cost on the www's?

I would name it The Purple Paycheck Eater if it was mine. You may want to delte the last word if you're the builder. It is a beauty. The roof is growing on me.

I don't mind the wheels. I find them a little too deep for my tastes but it is a nice modern take that is not the typical billet. The roof color I am having a hard time with. Too pastel to go with the great body color. The lower half of the car looks like a sinister custom and the top looks a little girly in comparison. Would have loved to see this car in one color the dark purple as I think it would have looked downright nasty but as long as the owner likes it that is all that matters. Really nice work as always Rick.

Glad to hear all your good words. Heres some more pic's that show some of the interior and a closer view of some of the kustom body stuff.

Oh the color of the roof is definitly not my choice of color !!!!! but it's alot better than the orginal pearl white my customer had me paint it.

That is one cool car. Nice to see an Olds getting that treatment.
    Purple P***ion as a name??????

  19. Go with the old Chrysler paint color name from the 70s and name it "PLUM CRAZY".

Time is getting real short for the GNRS and i still have a few big hurtles to over come. The biggest is the front & Rear gl***. Just before lunch a new winsdshield came in and right after lunch i cutted to fit the chop with my top serect hand held water jet. Now all i need is the custom made rear window to be completed. I made a fibergl*** templet off the orginal widow and then cut it to fit the chop. I then used the fibergl*** templet to make a steel templet that was braced on the innerside. I then was able to fine tune the steel patter to fit exactly how the gl*** should fit. last wendsay i dropped off the steel back window pattern at my gl*** guys shop. Now all i can do is hope he gets it made in time for the show.

Very nice Rick and it's not even a Mercury or Ford. Love the tail lights. What are they off of ? That rear window looks like alot of work is going into it. Hope you get it in time for the gnrs.

Ahh what the hell is a Top secret hand hald waterjet ? and whats so funny about that ?

Nice sled Rick; turning out nice. By the way, you were dead wrong about that Art Morrison frame. No camber issues at all; just being honest.

Hey chopnweld thanks for the good words. As for the camber issues i could be wrong but i will have to see it to belive it. Are you checking it at atleast 8" of wheel travel ? or something less ?

Ok it's done and at the GNRS. Just got the word the judges have looking at it for the third time so we all know what that might mean.
