Picked up this trunk the other day and was told it may be off the back of a model T. I can't find anything to support this and realize Kamlee was a trunk manufacture. I found a couple for Packards but can't find one like this trunk anywhere. Does it have any value? Thanks for any info.

    sorry, having trouble uploading pictures.

Yeah, I guess what I'm wondering is if this is made to go on a "T" or not? And, is there any interest in these now?

I wish. I have 4 or 5 sitting in my building. One even has matching luggage.

There were many aftermarket accessories for a T and it`very possible it came off of one.

  9. Probably not off of a T. That trunk is designed/shaped to sit on a luggage rack behind a sedan (where T sedans carried a spare). Try AACA forum- someone will recognize the company that made it.

  10. Apparently, as I just found out, I'm related to the people that owned the company that made Packard trunks (Kamlee is one, is there two in Milwaukee or Chicago?), they also made luggage (which would explain why there would be matched set), and they were made in Milwaukee... Unfortunately, the Kamlee and what the name was derived from, have nothing to do with the family name. The name would either be or married a Domagalski. Still resarching that side of the family.
