I'm doing the body work on my '32 Brookville body and I'm trying to get the correct shape of the bottom of the wheel well. They're pretty crudely cut from Brookville and need to be refined. I need a detailed picture of a stock body or perhaps if someone can make a tracing or pattern, I'd pay for shipping to get it here. I want the shape to look as close to original as I can. Here's a picture for reference of what I'm talking about. Thanks in advance!

Henry's are crude too. Maybe the Brookville is correct?

Ohhhhhh no, they're WAY off from side to side, like grossly cut. I'll see if I can't snap a pic of the body up on the stand tonight for reference.

Mine are pretty smooth and look to be the same from side to side.

The bottom seems to follow the lower concour of the frame rails ... if that helps any :D :D

That's what I'm about to do I think. Make my own pattern and go off the frame.

I don't have a roadster specific, but here's a couple pics I've collected, the sedan is obvious, the grey primed might be a roadster, but I don't remember.

It has to be a roadster, due to the way the metal right above the fender beading is "dished". The roadster quarter is dished in and the 5w is more flat above the beading.

the reason I knew, is because what's left of my 32 5w is so bad, that I studied/stared at every 5w at the shows trying to see what shapes all the panels should have.

I even had to tell the owners that I was not looking that closely to find flaws in their cars!

Thanks for the info guys! I'll get ahold of Pat Pryor, I could use one of those drawings anyways, I totally forgot about them.

The grey picture is Andy G's roadster.

I've done a bunch of Brookvilles and I make a pattern of each wheel well and then hit a compromise so both sides match. Their basic shape is right from the factory they just don't match. Everyone says you can only look at one side at a time but I'll know.

Mine looks like a bling guy with a plasma cutter went to town cutting the body line. I'm going to use the primer roadster above as a reference to clean mine up.
