Have a friend who because of health and financial circumstances is unable to finish his Model A project...It was his highschool car in 1961....During rebuild his circumstances changed and it went into storage for quite some time. 29A steel; tube frame, louvered belly pan; late flathead; T-10 4 spd; Mags, quikchange,w/Buick brakes; 12 spoke mags,w/disc brakes.... Would like to hear some comments in todays world as it may end up in the classifieds...Thanks, RDR
If I were you Id buy it from him ,Need pics to see modern day pricing ,Looks sweet as hell and those rims are worth a small fortune in it self ,
Very cool! I have a customer that is looking for something very similar, let me know if it goes up for sale.
What ever it looks like now, it has to be restored to that look! Killer '60s Hot Rod Magazine feature car look, although the tube frame to me seems to me more like a '70s thing? I'd jump at the chance to own something like that.
I appreciate any comments....it was his dream to build a radical flathead (he has the Merc crank,B&M blower and Vertex) powered showcar as daily driver when his world went upside down about 15 years ago...has a son but doesn't believe he'd ever finish it...I guess what I'm wondering is if there are folks who could see his vision and carry it on?? thanks again guys...
That is the coolest A I have seen in a while. It must be the perfect rake and unchopped lid. I love it!.
Sorry, No....Did not know how to mark the ad 'sold'... Duh....easy as going back into post and saying sold. granted, pretty stupid, but guess that's just me and computers. I did have a hiatus when HAMB went to a new or different style format...but I am back
