These are just a few pics of the rear of the car. the frame came up 15" so unfortunately that beautiful floor had to be cut out.. :( but it will be worth it. and besides the gentlemen i bought this car from was going to cut it up and make wall art out of it. so in my eyes no matter what i do i saved this car!

I bought the car without front doors (they were already sold ) and ive been searching and searching for a set of steel doors for it with no luck what-so-ever... well i finely broke down and bought gl*** doors for it. Good news is these are the only gl*** part on the whole car :) so not all is lost.

I had to modify my front frame rails just a little. (not bad for never building a frame from scratch) but got my front cross member mounted in place and got my front suspension mounted. now just waiting on a few parts to finish mounting it completely.

I am had an idea and im having trouble making up my mind.. If anyone has any input i would open to any opinions. Im trying to decide if i should weld my rear doors shut and make it look like a two door sedan or keep it a full working 4 door sedan. both way would be cool but i cant decide.

Keep it a four door. i love those with the rear doors suicide, you could keep the handles on the fronts and use solinoids on the rear doors

dont really have a lot of build photos.i never did cut a rear door but i did have a plan for it.just thought it would look kinda odd without making the rear valance shorter to the body as the pic of my 34 ford del shows the difference.

Harpo, Hope you'll forgive me for borrowing your picture but here's what i'm planning for mine...

I was letting it sit on the sideline but it might get moved to the front of the line.

Great looking projects, I you'll all keep us updted and post more as you move along!

I'm looking for a steel driver's door for my '33 Ply Coupe. I see you bought gl*** doors for your project. In your search for doors, do you know weather (2) or (4) door sedan doors can be modified to fit the coupe? I know the sedans have a higher roof, but I don't know about the other dimensions. Any info would be helpful to my project. Thanks PeteB

I'm sorry i haven't posted anything in awhile. I went through a really big move and the car has gotten pushed into the corner of the shop. I have been working on developing my own trick hinges for the car. Once i get them done i will put some pictures on. I ended up purchasing my gl*** doors from a private person who bought them from Redneck Fibergl*** i believe. To my knowledge they are no longer in business. I do see gl*** doors on ebay from time to time. The coupe doors will fit the sedan but only if you chop the top on the sedan. The window opening is taller by about an inch on the sedan. Other than that the doors are the same.
