That would be the Father of one of our members in a small town North of ATL back in the day (names ommited to protect the guilty) . B.
Yeah, and I watched him race lots of times @ the Peach Bowl, in a Super Modified, known as a "Skeeter" back then. The Peach Bowl was a small, 1/4 mi. asphalt track, almost flat, in the stockyard area of Atlanta. He was a hot shot driver there back in the 60's. Dave
that was AWSOME!!!!!i wonder if it was in a place that didnt get much snow?i can remember doing stupid shit like that when i was younger.i wonder if it was there cars or there parents, bet it was {dads}car!!!
There is already a thread on this on here somewhere. There is another film that goes along with it minus snow plus a hopped up shoebox (as I recall). I saw it on a different site yesterday too.
You folks up north gotta remember we don't see that much snow for years at a time, so when it comes, we just gotta do what comes natural! My son was teaching my 15 year old grandson just that in the Suwanee WallMart parking lot on Monday, after our 6" snow fall.
Screw drifting-THIS is skill. I know I'd probably end up hitting the building, but we don't have snow here.
Wish I could do that in my car. Damn front wheel drive Nissan. Wouldn't know the meaning of traction if I stuffed a dictionary under the tires. Sounds fun right about now. Great Video.
