Bought a 32 bb truck today

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by yankee mike, Jan 6, 2011.

  1. After 15 years of trying, I finally was able to purchase this truck. It has been in the family for over 50 years. I am excited and wanted to share another being saved.[IMG]

  4. I haven't decided what to do yet. Orig was to keep the good parts and sell off the rest but the truck is so nice! There is 1 ding in the door but that's it. No pin holes or body damage at all. I kind of like it as it is and might get it running and drive it as is. Would be really cool for picking up parts at swap meets.

Neat! Looks really solid. That's the benefit of vehicles that get to sit off the ground like that.

Is the V8 original? I thought most of the BB trucks were 4 bangers. Grate save!

  12. Damn, that's rad! The first thing I ever drove (steered anyway) was a '31 stakebed truck. I have a soft spot for the big trucks. Congrats on your purchase(s)!

Looks familiar- except mine has the wrong hood & headlights on it- have the right headlights now. V8 runs good, hoist and mechanical brakes work

if that v8's origional its pretty rare..consider keeping it together. have an aa dump truck with a hyd hoist in the family and its VERY handy to have around to haul stuff...

If you part it out, God will take a page out of your calendar.
