After 15 years of trying, I finally was able to purchase this truck. It has been in the family for over 50 years. I am excited and wanted to share another being saved.
I haven't decided what to do yet. Orig was to keep the good parts and sell off the rest but the truck is so nice! There is 1 ding in the door but that's it. No pin holes or body damage at all. I kind of like it as it is and might get it running and drive it as is. Would be really cool for picking up parts at swap meets.
Damn, that's rad! The first thing I ever drove (steered anyway) was a '31 stakebed truck. I have a soft spot for the big trucks. Congrats on your purchase(s)!
Looks familiar- except mine has the wrong hood & headlights on it- have the right headlights now. V8 runs good, hoist and mechanical brakes work
Nice truck. Do not buy them all up. Leave some for the rest of us. Give me a call I have Ford Coupe we might can do some trading.
Mike stop it you are buy them all up. Leave some for the rest of us. It is not fair I have been look all my life for old dump truck and old wreck. I can not believe you just bought both trucks in NC.
