Hi everyone, I have just bought some new wide steel wheels for the rear of my coupe,i was thinking of painting them black but not 100% sure. What colour wheels is everybody running?show us what you got. Any thoughts,pictures appreciated. Thanks Andy
Andy, I think on that car , the black wheel with chrome lug nuts would look the best. With the only colors being black and chrome (not that chrome is even a color), any thing besides black will look out of place. Thats what I think anyways, but what do I know, my black car has red wheels. Mitch.
Going on a black car you can kinda get away with anything. What color is the interior, any pinstriping (if so what color?) I think they'd look best chromed with a spider cap. I think that'd fit the look of your car. Black wheels on the back with the front wheels you have might look funky. Unless you're going for the late night street racer look.

Err... Not meaning to be rude or anything, but what does it matter what other people think. Do them the colour you want.
I always liked black wheels with chrome caps and a pinstripe on the outer edge to match the interior. Scott

I like red, can't go wrong with red. But I'd powder coat them not paint them unless money is a issue. But it can't be cheap to own a car like that in merry old England.

+1....Do what you want not what everybody else is doing.....personally if that was my car I would do them black with the stock ford 3 ring red pinstripes on them,.....I have Red wheels on my 32 5 window, But am doing a set in black for it as well, Because I can't decide which ones I like more......A set of MAG hali's isn't all bad either...LOL...just my 2 cents
hey you can't go wrong with black, the twin stripes should be enough accent with lugs or caps. I like your idea best.
Like black as well. With those ET's up front, A nice set of magnesium would look great. Or take them and have them powedercoated a satin black...or of co**** the $5 rattle can.
