My name is Casey and I've been building motorcycles in my spare time since 2005. I have a 52 Triumph, 44 BSA WD M20, and a Pan-shovel franken-davidson. About 4 months ago, a buddy called me up saying he was staring at an 8BA flathead in a garage that was in running condition for CHEAP with a 4 speed truck trans.

WTH. I bought it. Then last month I bought a complete 28 model A sedan with a title. The plan is to put the V8 in the sedan and make something the whole family can ride in, complete with seatbelts.

I'm a computer guy (IT Manager) so cars and motorcycles are just a hobby, so I've been lurking here for months soaking up information and knowledge. I probably won't have much to offer in the way of advice and chit-chat but if I can offer something constructive to a thread, then I will.

That's it for now. Here are some pics of the bikes and the fresh model a.

    Thanks.

    Casey

  2. Casey,
The A looks solid. Good luck on your build.

Seduced by the dark side eh? Welcome. Nice bikes. Bikes are better but not everyone here sees that.

  11. Wecome aboard -I too originally came over from the Jockey Journal - I had a59 Triumph t100 chopper that was running and I sold it for a trashed out ex-show bike 60 Panhead(that I still have) I sold a Matco toolbox,51 Harley Hummer race bike, the Trumpet and gave some more scratch for that project -wish I could keep everything, but iron happens...

I've dreamed of coming up there since about 2000. Labor day weekend is always heavy-duty family time in my world though. I will make it some day I suppose. When I do, I'll look you up!
