1975 Nova rear axle width?

I found a 75 Nova but it has no wheels on it so she's laying flat on the ground and no way at the time to measure up the rear end, anyone know the width from backing plate to backing plate? I'd like to get it out and put it in my F1 if its close to the right width

200.00 for the complete car! and in actually very nice shape except no motor transmission

I have a 76 Nova rear in my 53 Pontiac and its 54 inches backing plate to backing plate, actually just checked that measurement last night for a buddy so its still fresh in my head..

 

the rearend in the truck is 55 1/2 inches, guess I'll give it a try since I already sold the body for 150.00 before I even bought it
