Here is a 64 i started on a while back and how it has progressed along since i brought it home. It was an all original one owner when i bought with the original title. I used a 86 Chevy donor truck and converted the complete front/rear suspension to power disc brakes, power steering and 5-lug. I am running 15x8 rallys with 90's model center caps on BFG 275/60R15. I also have a stock original 64 model 283 that i will be rebuilding and dropping in. Plans are to run Vintage Air ac/heat. Everything else will remain pretty much stock as it would have been in 64. I also swapped the stepside bed out for a fleetside. I will post more pics as i move along.
Ok guys, it's been a while since any movement on my project mainly due to snow, cold and rain. I have since added this awesome looking toy to my 350. I will be installing a Comp Cams Thumpr also in the near future. It may not turn 6 sec in a 1/4 mile but it will look like it would anyway, LOL.
Looking good, keep plugging along, just try to do a little something each day to keep You motivated.Keep the pics coming.
Yes. It is sometimes hard to stay motivated. I spend a few hours on here, get pumped up and then i will go work on it LOL. I will try to keep posting pics as i make progress. I am gonna sell these wheels and tires and go with the "old skool" Cragar S/S's. 6" in the front and 12" in the rear.
