Its gold,,,OH my god its gold.

I decided its finally to put some color on something. Frame is going for powder coat in a few days,,, so that leaves me with the motor. I went to the paint store and tossed around a few ideas. We looked at black, black with red flake, red with black flake, bare metal................Then a distant voice from the back room, hey how about gold. I said gold!!!!!!! Are you nuts!!!!!! GOLD???


THen he brought out a sample piece with gold flake over a black base. HOLY **** BATMAN...... Thats it, thats the color.
I left pretty excited so I called a few friends and told them the idea and they had the same reaction I did when the dude from the back room said gold.

Different. Certainly "POPS". What motor is that and what is it going in?

 

THe motor is a 91 BMW850I V12 motor and trans, it is going into a 28 Whillys Whippet It will also have a 8/92 blower I have a build thread here
