I'm an ex racer and have been around racing all my life. Retired now so I'm attempting to build an 1/8 scale model of the super modifieds I started out in. It's scratch built except for the tires, wheels axles and motor block.

[IMG] Done. I'm ready to build a San Jose pavement super modified. The cool thing, to me, about these cars is that you could have a whole main event field of supers and no two would be alike. Today there would be maybe three styles at best with just different paint jobs

    Pretty cool.......Welcome from Connecticut

  15. I like your model. It's built just like it's the real thing. Good job form a like minded racer. I ran Super Modifieds and came from a family that raced for sixty years. Motorcycles for the Indian factory, jalopy's to cl*** A, to sprinters, to Supers. Then I came along and built and drove hydroplanes, and supers. I'm new to this thread so welcome aboard.
