help id this mallory dizzy

    i just picked this mallory distributor . i dot know what it fits. has a hex drive to the oil pump. here are some pics

    That is a neat advance on the side. On my Chevy you have to remove the plate that holds module to get to an advance which replaces the va***n one

    yes it has a neat advance on the side . just unscrew the set screw and advance or retard . it has a scale to.

    Looks like a small block Ford. The hex in the bottom is for the oil pump drive shaft.

    Probably small block Ford. I don't know of any others that use the hex drive for the oil pump

    thanks for the info. i got this with a bunch of distributors. they were all malloy mag skark but the rest were all chevy. i had never sean a hex drive before.

    small block ford 260-289-302 5/16 hex in the end for the oil pump drive.. i have that same dist. in my old 289 sitting in the shed..

    My guess would be without the specs. Ford FE 352,390,406,427,428
