I bought a 29 tudor from my buddy Joel a few weeks ago, he had the car running and driving a couple of years ago (first pic) and had it at world of wheels car show, then drove it a bit and took it apart to do body work etc etc, well he got sidetracked and stalled on the project so i talked to him about buying it he said hed sell, minus motor trans, radiator grille shell and a few other things. (second pic is how i got it),

So i picked it up about 2-1/2 weeks ago, it was all taken apart, in bare metal, and most of the patches were done, i got her home and decided i didnt like the firewall and front floors so i cut all that out and decided to redo the front A pillar area where it was a little rusty so its just easier to cut it out and start fresh.

I got all that done then my buddy Eric (thirtytwo) from Owatanna had been out of work for a while so i told him id pay him to help me out on the car, so we spent about 4 days hammering dents out, finishing a few patch panels and mudding her up and putting some slick sland (man i love that stuff) and blocking her out, then i sprayed on a coat of valspar tractor satin black, im pretty happy with the way it turned out for a 4 day thrash.

Just before Eric showed up i freshened up a late 80s 350 with a new cam and lifters timing chain and gaskets and added a 4bbl intake and carb and dressed her up with some aluminum goodies etc etc.

I mounted that up in the ch***is and got her fired up the other day, the last few days ive been finishing up the rear floors, battery box, gast tank and mount, throttle linkages, wireing and lots of other fun little stuff.

Now its time to start body work on the fenders, fun fun, overall they are in pretty nice shape so it wont take too much to get them into shape.

After that im gonna install the gl***

then off to the wifes garage for the white top, white running boards and black and white interior.

Ill add pics as i get further on it

    enjoy.

It took me more than 4 days just to clean out the garage and get mine in! Good job, nice looking pans.

Yep, the 32 shell is staying on it.

I feel like boyd, fitting my fenders after the body is painted, you know b*** ackwards! My buddy Eric only had a few days to help so i figured it best that we get the body done while he was here, i did have the rear fenders fit before the body was painted, so the fronts are as bad to mess with when the car is painted.

i also got the battery mounted and the gas tank all mounted.

Time to get back to it, gotta go fit the other front fender, fit the hood shelves and front gravel shield, then they all come off again! then the car is going to the wifes for some s***chen while i straiten and paint the fenders, fun fun!

moved it back and forth in the garage tonight under its own power, got the cam broke in and got it running pretty good, got the headlight bar tweaked around the 32 shell and got it mounted and fit, fit the headlights on it, got the hood shelves fit and the front gravel sheild fit also, no its time to full all that **** back off and paint it all!

Very nice! Congrats! Tou don't see as many full fendered Tudors these days. Yours will be real cool. That Deuce grille shell and headlight bar treatment make that car. The stance is dead on too. Very cool.

Had one like it years ago. Wish I had it now. Hopefully I know enough to finish it like it should be. Great project, looks good.
