I'm having trouble finding a battery for my '51 ford. All of the big stores, Pep Boys, Kragen, & AutoZone sell a 6volt battery but the group size is 1.

The battery a stock '51 uses is a group size 2, which is quite a bit larger than the other. Not to mention the group size 2 battery fills the battery box.

Anyone know were to purchase a group size 2 6volt battery in the SO Cal area?

    Thanks!

Thanks for the input guys. The napa store in my area does not carry them. And there are no Tractor Supply stores in the Los Angeles area.

Anyone else know were I can find a group size 2 battery?

Check the diesel truck shop ... big rigs run 4 of these with much more capacity, & they don't sell junk.
