The '56

Down from a motorcycle crash for the last 3 months. Got to work on the '56 today for the first time since I drug it home. Cleaned all the trash and mouse shit out of it. Put in a new battery and ignition and it fired right up. Crazy ass wife cutting donuts in the driveway in the snow.

Lots of work left but thought I would throw out some pictures.

 

Cool! What are the plans for this, besides ditching those wheels?

Good for her!! She's just lettin' off a little stem after taking care of your butt for three months!! (Mine did the same thing after my H-D crash). Love the car it looks like my '56 210 I had at age 15...wish I still had it!

Sweet '56. That brings back fond memories.

 

Gonna throw on a cheap set of stealies to replace those god awful wheels for now. Car has an old school front disc brake conversion that needs some attention. After that make sure it's road worthy and drive it.
