I have seen that air cleaner as well. Looks really good. Is it an early chevelle air cleaner. Looks like that Dakota front clip worked great. Doing a 58 Apache right now. Thinking of a Camaro clip but the Dakota might be an option. You like?

Wow - what a beautiful truck. Best looking truck I've ever seen, and your choice of color was/is perfect.

the dakota front is brilliant, the air cleaner was scratch built by geoff peterson and uses a z28 open element style air filter

getting a few new build bugs out . i have about 6-7.5 in vaccum and need a minimum of 14.5 to make the power brakes work...so i bought an electric vac pump( on at 14, off 23 ) and small reserve tank , that'll fix that bug

    A beautiful truck, congratulations.

  16. Very pretty truck, of course I too am partial having owned one for 43 years.

The reason I quoted this picture, is that I am running a 454 TH400 O/D with 76 Blazer 4x4 gear, and am changing the running gear back to stock 55 this summer.
It worked well for me as a 4x4, but I don't need it anymore. I never was able to get my hands on a tailgate emblem.

they are very low, already a few bruises on the bottom! they were the only 2 1/8" header i could get to fit without getting a handbuilt set done.
