I think it looks pretty sharp:) certainly not out of place or overwhelming at all.

no room for a stock horn on the '29 A pickup once I installed the dropped headlight bar this summer.

I tried to mount the stock ah-ooga horn below the seat, but no room there either, so I found a cheapo plastic, china-made 'aooga' horn on Amazon for about $10 that was smaller and fit underneath. It works and is apparently only worth what I paid, so I expect it will not last too long.

... but now all that is barely showing is a generic flush mount horn ****on that I painted and mounted in a new bracket under the dash.

...and I can't even find a finished pic of it cleared and mounted.

What are you using for an air supply?

Or did they come with a small compressor?

Firewall mount was a common solution on rods, but looks like you have a '32 shell. How about bracketing it to the inner lower apron right behind the grill? It would be an interesting nearly hidden detail, and only a portion would be up in actual air flow.

I wish i had photos. I took a old broken model a ahooga horn, i cut the motor out of it, then i welded the flange to the motor houseing. Then i took a new plastic ahooga horn and cut a bunch off the horn bit and stuffed it in the housing from behind. Ran the wires and screwed the back cap and front metal horn on. Now it looks old but has a 10 buck horn in it. Better than 200 for a new repo one. Oh and it sounds good too. I mounted it from the shock mount holes on my model a.

I think I solved my conundrum... That EA is just too big for my car and I think a little too fancy as well. I want a nice looking, cool horn, but I don't want it to be the first thing people notice about the car. I just bought this one and at a little over 4" it should be perfect to mount on the firewall and not attract too much attention. Thanks for the input, fellas!

Running an old Wolf Whistle mounted on the manifold. It takes practice to make it do a wolf whistle.
