I was going to run some Ansens but they just don't look right, so I need a set of Fuelers or Five Windows, and I'm ready to order a set.

Is anyone on the HAMB a dealer?

    Do they even have dealers?

Has anyone dealt with them, and how long is the wait on them?

  2. Gus, I am a dealer. There is a bit of a wait but it is worth it. Scott is a little busy and ****ter brained (sounding) but he has been a straight shooter with me.

  3. All the wheels are customes, he only has "stock" sizes with his new Halibrand looking wheel. Wait can be up to 8 weeks. The "as cast" are really killer. He also offers Perma-Star coatings as well. Looks like chrome but should last forever. I did a set of Cl***ic 5s for a customer with this coating, very nice looking.

I bought a pair of the polished 5 spokes for an altered. After he saw mine, a buddy bought a set of the 5 windows for a rail. Both look killer and even though they are really made for street cars they have worked well on drag cars. Both pair were drilled for slicks. They balanced well. The coupe runs about 140 and the dragster ran 180. I don't remember how long it took to get them, it was at least 6-8 weeks, but they delivered when promised.

dave - did you see the set in the cl***ifieds?

  9. Usually 8 weeks is about right. Unless there is an issue with the polishers etc. Gus, all's cool, I will keep you posted.

I just looked at them. Beautiful wheels. Are they magnesium or aluminum?

The Team IIIs on the Dixie Flyer were the modern version of those wheels. We went with 15s though, the slicks we wanted to use were 15x12x33. They had the right look on the digger. Being aluminum they were basically no maintenance too, had the polished rims and cast centers. They were also about $400 less.

Hey Tman, I just got off of the phone with some asian lady at ET wheels... She couldn't understand why anyone would want wheels that aren't shiny?!?

What I called to ask (maybe you can help) was if I could save any money by ordering the 15 x 4.5 "G***er" wheels in a full as cast finish, instead of cast center/polished rim.

The woman I talked to told me that they're not polished rims, they just look like it...

Lemme know if you can help!:)

  16. Yeah, I can help. Call me at the shop 605-343-9452 we will talk about what you need. Thats Scotts wife, she really is pretty sharp and runs the place for him.

BTW, Beatnik got his wheels already, lets see if I can find the pic he sent me.

Thanks again Trent, I still can't believe I got them in 3 weeks, instead of the normal 8 weeks. Now if it would only warm up a little I could get some work done.

Steve the outside rim is definately polished on mine, I think the 10 spokes are the same way.

Run a pair of ET g***er 10 spokes on the front of the g***er bug ;) and they're fantastic! beautiful wheels! They're the 'as cast style', and they have a polished rim.

had a bit of trouble getting hold of Team 3 direct, but came on here and Trent hooked me up straight away - he is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, kept me informed on progress, no worries on shipping here to the UK, even ****ed over UK customs for me by billing them as 'used' :D

would still like to become the UK agent for Team 3

    :)

LMFAO!! Yeah right!! Beatnik has a wheel fedish like most women have a shoe fedish. Next time you come to town I'll give ya a tour of his "Wheel Museum" :D

  21. I wish I'd have known he was wheel nuts...I have a pretty good wheel "museum" too...I would've shown him mine when you guys were up here a while back. I have Hals and a couple, at least, of almost every Hal copy made over the years. And a big pile of '49-51 Merc wheels.
