HAHAHA! You're more than welcome to move to Lincolnton! Folks, come on down to the shop and check us out!
Check us out? What are we three legged bearded ladies? Hahaha!!!! Step right up and see the freak show!
Actually that makes 3 clubs in the area , The Iron Lords already know most of the Oddballs C.C. See you guys tonight.
So that makes Turd about 293% something! That's a feat worth mentioning! Three "men" in 3/4 of a package!
"How about a man eating chicken? Ever see one of those?[/QUOTE]" Thats too funny!!! I think Jeffery is to young to get that...
Thanks for the invite. Its hard for me to let anything go on the car cause its a complete vehicle and very hard to find. Back in the day these cars were taken to the s**** yards to be crushed, they brought the most money. I have ponder selling the drive train but not sure what it would bring. Hey and I've never turned down a good freak show.
Does anyone know someone that maybe interested in the caddy? I have an opportunity to purchase my 65 chevy truck back if I can sell the caddy. Hit me up and let me know.
Dang! i didn't even know this thread happened, thanks Curt! Hope to see all you dude's again soon, maybe next time i'll bring The Vanimal. -Ryan
So last night we had Rick Lyerly stop by and take some professional shots of the shop. What do you guys think of his style? Rick's work is unreal. ******Knuckles
The lords get glamor shots! I've personally never liked High Dynamic Imaging as it's a little too synthetic for my tastes and I'm a simple man. However, I don't think the shop has been represented more beautifully then it has in these pics. The mulitple layering of exposures really captures the details of what's going on outside through the windows as well as what's inside the shop. That glow is definitely there in then evenings and it seldom shows up in pics. Cool stuff. On similar but separate note, Del's chop and '54 in general is turing out to be a stunner. I am jealous of his car as it's exactly how I'd build a '54 Chevy custom (maybe minus that pesky 235). Damn, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a ***ier 3/4 shot of a custom. It's odd how lowering the top on a '53-'54 (or all cars for that matter) can have a dramatic effect on how you see the rest of the car. Almost instantaneously the car seems less bulbous and more streamlined and the rear deck seems like it's finally starting to flow. I can't wait to see this thing back on the road i with the extended quarters and the grille finished. It's going to be incredible. And don't get me started on *****er. Dude has a horseshoe up his polish *** and I hate him for that '55 score. Coolest car in concord!!!
thanks JJ, your the sweetness I'm always honored that some one would wanna take a picture of my heap let alone a fancy one! thanks for posting these ****s!
Man these came out really great! Deltons 54 is turning out to be one of the finest REAL traditional customs around. I too cant wait to see this thing complete and on the road. These pics do show the show in a very cool perspective. Im like JeffreyJames, that I normally don't like high dynamic pics but these are really awesome. Rick has definately got an eye to be able to pull this off. Great Job!
They look great. Were these taken for any reason or just for fun? The one with Deltons 54 and the 55 is awesome. You could sell prints of that one. My autobody cl*** ends in a few weeks, looking forward to coming down for some shop nights. Maybe I can learn a thing or two.
Too bad the kiddy-kreeper van got in a couple! I like those alot! (the pics, that is)...(not the van)
