Hi folks i own since June 18th this year a Ford 1940 Coupe Deluxe. Its my dream car and i guess maybe my 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T has to be in the garage for a longer time.....cause i have to drive my new baby i collect Hot Wheels and Matchbox and other since many years now and i am realy a muscle car, hot rod and and yunkie hoep to get some hints and new etc here and to learn some stuff about our "toys" hehe i live in switzerland near Zurich and work in an IT company...no children....only cars n bikes and girl friend Seeya Celli
Hey! I am originally from Austria (Niederoesterreich), but moved to the United States this summer. There is just more stuff going on, that I am interested in ;-) So welcome you and your sweet little toy!! Martin
Well Howdy back at you and welcome! What a cool ride. Love the color and unique flames. Did you build that over there? Please give more details & pictures. Thanks, Chuck
Welcome from Central Valley Ca. just west of Yosemite Nice car, what are the laws like there for lic. and driving modified cars
i bought the car like it is...means he was built up in germany during the 90`s we have here very hard laws to get such cars on the road, but it is TÜV approved (german lic) and thats one of the best things to get it here on the road and its importent, steel body on original frame....helps a lot, here is it not possible now, to have fibergl*** cars with aftermarked frames ....its not possible anymore... @rustygem, i drove years ago trough yosemite hehehe Regards Celli
Welcome From Minnesota. Beautiful car. If a Hot rod p***es Geman laws it must be a darn good car. Very safe and road worthy.
Hi again got my date to get a license plate for the ford 4th of august, hope it works on the first try ;-) here some more pics......my 1. US Car Meeting here in switzerland ....got Best of show
Welcome Celli, my first car was a 40 coupe back in 1962! Nothing like that style, how big is American hot rodding in your coutry? I guess it's easy to take our sport for granted here at home, with national events in the thousands. Drive the wheels off that coupe!
Hod rodding here isnt that big...cause of the laws to be legal and to get a license plate for the cars...getting slowly a little bigger i dont know how much Hot and street rods we have here....some dozens maybe, but the us car scene is more or less big regarding on the size of our country, so our biggest us car meeting has more than 2000 cars.....and switzerland only 7 million people and i guess we have some realy rare cars here aswell.....in the earlier times there where many cars imported and we had some fabrication companys (GM >Biel, Dodge> Schinznach) which finished the cars directly here...
Hi since 7th august i am driving legal on the swiss roads the government checked the car and they had pleasure ...so i got my license plates and i am lucky about this and enjoy every minute with my dream car Greetings Celli
Welcome! Where in Switzerland are you? Have lived in Florida for the last 11 years, but still go back once a year or so. Originally from Schwyz but lived in Zuerich before moving over here.
