Now that the snow is leaving I was able to get it out again. These pictures show deck lid and hood sides on the car. My intention is to some time build a track nose that would interchange with the modified 32 shell on it now.

Thats a really neat car. Love the front suspension - spring in front of axle set up. Very cool way to make the '36 and up suspension work without cutting it up.

Well the snow still hasn't left but the deicer **** is off the roads. I didn't get the roadster out on the road at all last year so this was the 1st time to run it with the QC. Best set of road gear ratios I had to put in was 6.20-1. Pretty peppy around town with those in there. I hadn't drove a QC on the street for a long time , kind of nice to hear that gear whine again.

I like everything you've done with that!...in particular, I like the "cowl relief"! Looks killer! Congratulations for getting that "survivor" back!

Bought a scanner, so here are some pics of the above "find" and soon after. Notice the Mt. St. Helens Volcanic ash still there after 23 years. COE Ford is ex Army used by Dept of Interior after WWII. There were at least 20 old scycle mower bars stacked on that rack. If it had collapsed the body would have been toast.

Nice to see the 'other' Ford flathead. :)

Really nice car. I especially like the look of the dual pipes coming out one side.

I got to see Bob and his Roadster at the East/West no overheads run last fall.
Here are a few photos to add to the collection.

I thought I had one of him pulling out of the event when everyone was leaving but must not have taken one.

Thanks for posting those nice photos. The first one shows the quick detachable windshield extension we made up the nite before . The early morning start from Spokane was in the rain and before daylight. It fits in the turtle deck for when it might be needed again.
