Here's a couple of early 1900's style coach lining jobs. My fourth and fifth actually. I've done 3 others of the black panel and this is the first go at the design on the red panel. Both are laminated chip board with D-moulding around the edge. The wood grain effect is done with offset printing ink on red oxide primer. Hope you all enjoy.

  2. Looking good man!
Wood graining is something I would love to try.
Who is it that carries the Stencils and such to woodgrain trim?

  3. Talk with Unkl Ian;he does a mean woodgrain,Maybe if you ask nicely,he'll do a Tech How-To. I have some newer stuff to post later(still working on them)but I'll slide this one in to keep with the title of this post.

Some highlights from the Charity auction for Rainbow Connection.

    None of these are mine.

The BIG eagle was donated by Carp,
and the multicolored panel is by Alan Johnson.

  27. Impressed as always. Some damn fine striping this week. I'd kill to have half the talent some of you guys have. Both sorta O/T, but these two not-quite-finished drawings were about all I had time to do this week.

Something i worked on this week for yet another Art show project coming up by a young lady named Beck(y) from New York. She makes these skate decks into ladies hand bags called "skate bags". One deck makes into two bags:) She had 35 different artists each paint something for the charity/benifit art show. Stoked to be apart of this and had to put my other paintings on hold to get this finished before the show.
    best wishes,
    CAB
