Has anybody used the Rebel Wire 8 circuit wire kit? I am wanting to know if it is easy to install and if it is a good wiring harness.

I vote hell yes for Rebel Wire. Good guy, American made, and just as good, if not better, quality than any of the "big" guys. Glen also knows car and is always available for help.

I have used the 12 circuit twice and both were installed and running in around 4 hours. Fairly simple. Well labeled and easy to follow instructions. 1/4th the price of painless or american autowire.

When I had questions, I called and talked to the builder that minute. He walked me thru every question AS i was working. Thats service. I will always buy from them for them going the extra mile with me.

Thanks I had the same ?. I just installed a Autowire kit in a Chevelle at work-very nice car specific kit, spendy, but it had everything compared to the painless kit I put in my own.Anyone try Ron Francis' Bare Bones? Guess I should become a member instead of a tool and try the Rebel.

my experience with mr francis's stuff is that while being perfectly serviceable and usable, its way over complicated and way to expensive.

painless stuff is chinzy and the customer service sucks and getting replacement parts is next to impossible. (mostly dealt with racercar switch boxes, but why would they treat racers any different than anyone else.)

My Pops & I completely rewired my 50 Chevy of the course of a week, and we have never tackled anything so big, but the kit was easy to install, and Glen was fantastic for any questions, oh yeah we used the 9+3 kit and couple of wires left over.

  15. Same here and then I met the owner at the HAMB drags at Mokan... Super nice guy and a great company to deal with.

(Glen... please send check to... Hahaha...!):D

Do a search for Rebel Wire and see if you can find someone saying something negative about it. I couldn't, so I bought one. I haven't installed it yet, but I've looked it over closely, and I'm pleased.

I've used a 12 circuit and am getting ready to order the 8 circuit, great product.

  20. To show you how good this Rebel Wire is, I'm installing my fourth wiring harness in two years. Rebel wire is excellent quality, easy to work with, color coded, marked every 6", and priced very resonable. I've used other higher priced kits, I see no quality difference. ++++++Made in the USA.

  21. Rebel Wire for me. Not sure that they are an Alliance vendor. Send glenn33 here a PM and he'll hook you up.

I've been looking for a wiring harness. I'm not sure if I'm going to need a whole kit, but if I do, it looks like I'm going with Rebel Wire...

I used the 9+3, very happy with it ,very easy to install. I had a little trouble hooking up to my turn signal switch, it was on a saturday afternoon, I called and he got me through it very easy. I will use rebel wire on any project I do in the future.

wait,, entirely to much ass kissing going on here...

    My complaints,,,

The box is too small, its got the correct number of circiuts but it doesnt look all high tech and big like the other guys....

The wires are too big, I know that they should be big enough to handle the load but those other boxes got cuter lookin wires.

Instructions has to many pages, how am I supposed to look like a genius at wiring when those guys give you all the secrets.....

Durablity,, how the hell am I to make money on fixing the wiring down the road?

and that Glenn guy,, He sure knows his stuff, but he's not very pretty.......
