This is the GNRS Alter boys pick trophy topper. Its BIG!!! Measures over 14 inches long!

We wanted to do something different, something big and special! Its not every day we get an opportunity like this. The west coast has some of the best cars in the world.....and we get to pick our favorite in the Suede Palace! The base is BIG too! Measuring over 2-1/2 feet tall.....guess you'll have to see the finished product at the show. It's now off to be lettered with our friend Don Feron. Yes, that's a custom made bomber seat and custom aircraft steering wheel.

ship it out tomorrow to someone out there! Its really beautiful & it would **** to be h***led at the airport.I had to take a tiny"piston" off my key ring cause the lady gave me **** at the gate! And they will x-ray your bags!!

We were talking about that last night the trophy is going to be pretty big so I think its going into a dedicated piece of luggage that will get checked. I will talk to the airline and make sure that its going to make it there otherwise we'll shell out a small fortune to have it overnighted to the show. Theres just too much left to do to it before we leave on Thursday normal shipping would never get it there in time.

 

Also Pete is being a little modest here. The steering wheel was custom machined out of a piece of alluminum stock as were the wheels which he then engine turned. The seat was hand s***ched out of a piece of vintage millitary canvas and the tires were custom made to look like vintage firestone land speed units. Pete has really outdone himself, this thing looks awesome in person. I will get updated photos as soon as its lettered.

Here is the best shot I have of the trophy striped and ***embled. We will get better pictures when we get to California but this bad Larry is on its way now, being hand delivered to the show in a comfy box padded with baby swaddling and oiled nightly by beautiful ladies.
