Hi together out there, my name is Michael, 38 years old, from germany, got a car illness and have just completed a real tough american muscle car, in my opinion. The one and only buick GS 455 in the hole buick club of germany ! So my usual forum is V8buickcom. I just opened a small US Car Garage for Classic Cars just right now. (in the total beginin`) Some of you will understand, that when one project has finished after years and it is a real good ride, the same second you `re thinkin` : ... what`s next ?? A Friend of mine drives a 1940 Ford Hot Rod in primer orange with a bad 383 inside, i loooove this car so much. Now what i am searching for is a good base to start buildin a Rod. Engine should not be a killer, this a got in the garage, but have to sound nice - V8 of course. I got time to search, no stress. Got a wife (who realy allowed me to search a new project, har, har), and two sons and i have to follow some german rules for the licence plate laws for the "historic" number (we call). So it should be streetable and should have 4 seatplaces So perhaps i want to go with 1946 - 47 Ford, but not realy sure. Now, this is why i am here, to get some got tips from you My english is mostly learned in scool and teaches a little by my american Friend chris from Alabama, so please allow me some typewrite mistakes... So - that`s me..so far. grz Mike
