Cruising the HAMB on a Saturday night. Gotta cruise the web since my car cant move. At least I have company. There is progress on the car though! I cleaned the garage so I can get to it. Now that the baby excitement settled down and I am just about done renovating house #1 I can get back to working on it.
That is going to be one COOL Hot Rod when you get cranking on it. Look's like the little one enjoy's Hot Rod's also. Good luck with the build.......PINCHER
I think I may have gotten off square on the frame so if I get time to play with it next week the first thing I have to do is pull the body and motor out and check for square before moving forward with the front suspension.
One day I'll have one of those awesome garagejournal shop build threads, but by the time I have the cash for that the hotrod will be done already.
You're a lucky guy !! You are where I was in 1985: A new son, a house to renovate and a '65 Chevelle SS convert. sitting in the garage waiting for me to hotrod. Fast forward all these years: the son has a daughter of his own,I have a new house and a 34 roadster to keep me happy !!! May you have a good life, like I did. Oh, that roadster is a nice starting point. You and Jr. are going to have a ball !!!!
Your Kid is watching with Great Intensity ! ! He'll be a gear head before he's 3. Happy building. VR&C.
Very cool! I'm surfing the HAMB in flannel PJ's, watching the BJ Auction with a HAMB pal and we're eating pizza. Doesn't get any better.
With temps nearing zero in your neck of the woods this weekend (and probably quite a bit of the white stuff on the ground), I don't think you're gonna do to much roadster cruising this week anyway. Most of us are in the same boat...car auction-HAMB-car auction-HAMB, etc.
I feel for you guys up north. I know what its like up there now since I started driving a truck and going up there. Cruising the Hamb aint a bad thing to be doing though.
