Yeah, we'll RUMBLE again, I think most of the guys in the club are out of JAIL now. So bring it on! By the way the drag strip isn't in Maryville, its in Seymour, 10 miles east of Maryville.

    I love east Tennessee.
Pretty women, short skirts, good whiskey, wild music, warm evenings and loud motors.
What more could any man want.
    Oh, ooh!
    I don't feel good!!
Could have a bad case of divorce coming on !!

Sounds like a fun event, My sedan should be hitting the road for maiden voyage about that time and I am not sure I would be wanting to jump into a car I just built and drive it that far without atleast 50 or 100 miles of around town driving first.

I was planning on having it ready for Knoxville...

It's about an hour to an hour and a half from Bristol to Knoxville depending on traffic. You could probably get off on Hwy. 66 and come into Sevierville and then take Chapman Hwy. if Sevierville isn't packed with tourists. I've lived around here for over 50 yrs. and it get's harder to get through town every day.

hey Sparky, if all goes well, I might even be able to drive my own happy ass to that.... I got me a 53 ford customline last weekend. I'm gettin the car down to the shop this week, and K9 racer has a flattie waiting for me down alabama way. So if the car gods (and my wallet) are willing, I think I could be rolling by then......

    cheers
