Anyone know where these disc brakes came from?

i was thinking of doing something like that. A custom hub is the trick part, see how they found a disk to bolt to the custom hub. I started tossing around ideas on how to customise my existing 34hub/drum and need wire wheel support rings nor spindle . . . . .

An off-the shelf Willwood rotor hat will fit after a little work. You'd have to figure out what offset to use.

There is not one offered with the 5 on 5-1/2" pattern, as far as I know. That will have to be drilled in it. Either the hat or the hub would have to be machined to get the center register hole/hub to match. You'd have to swap the studs for press-in ones.

That caliper bracket is just a flat piece of steel.

Look in Speedway's racing catalog. They have a page in the brake section that has dozens of hat and rotor combinations that could be made to slip over the original hub. Then use the after market wire wheel suport spacer that is used on '40 - '48 style drums. Looks like the caliper brackets were fabricated.
