What ever happend to the winfield fiberglass merc stuff?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by DIRTYT, May 9, 2007.

  1. The Pete n Jakes, purple Merc was a giveaway car at a show. It was finished very nice. The mold was pulled off PeeWee Wentz '51 Merc. I heard the ones for sale were really rough, and needed alot of work to be a nice car. It was available as a Coupe or convertable. Coupe was about 8k.

There is a guy in Dayton Ohio that makes a '49 Merc... he also makes Batmobiles! It is called Gotham Cruisers and he has them pictured on his website... it is also fun to see the other stuff he makes!

  12. If you would like to see how I designed this Merk copy check out my profile. I have pictures of how I made the front end and the grill pieces. I did the project for a guy in South Carolina. I got paid but there where others that had trouble getting there product. The guy was a nice enough guy, but he had no idea how to run a business. It was a shame, because the quality of the product was good
