  1. Actually we do use coolers in this weather... it insulates the beer from freezing.

******** doesn't even begin to describe you! I should just turn over my man-card and keys to you now...

If I was to even attempt what you did, I'd end up looking like Randy from 'A Christmas Story' ("I can't put my arms down") and somehow get my tongue stuck to the frame.

It was 17 here yesterday and I spent about an hour outside and said forget it. The funny thing is I work outside most of the time, I fix other peoples stuff, but when it comes to mine I just never get it done. I guess because I don't have to. But, keep up the goo work man, looks great.

    I hate SNOW ...
    I hate the cold ...

At my age I refuse to be all that uncomfortable just to work on a HOBBY.
I have had to work in the cold, wet and snow before but it was my job.

I am not that dedicated ... and I have a few finished rides to drive ...
so my old M-47 Mercury pickup can wait until I want to work on it.

Nice work! Cold and snow is merely an issue of mind over matter. Except when it gets to -40F or colder, then nothing really works.

I hear ya I'm out there in my drive way working on my model A, got the dam thing running in this Canadian cold.

  23. I built a heated 900sf insulated garage before I started working on my Hobbies. Now its always 70 degrees in my shop. But I did have to work on my Bobcat in 15 degree snow after plowing the street and plugging up everyones driveway when I blew a Hydraulic line. This was Christmas Eve!! I got a line made and spent all of Christmas Eve and Christmas fixing it so I could plow all my neighbors driveways. All just because i'm a nice guy. My knees hurt for weeks after that!!! I was kneeling in the snow all day and all night for two days fixing that thing!!!! Not smart!!

Truck is looking good and my hat's off to ya for working in that weather but Andy............. you're making a lot of us look bad. LOL Now when I turn up the thermostat in my garage I feel all this guilt....but after a couple minutes I get over it.

Thanks guys! It was 29 degrees this morning when I went out, felt like spring time compared to the last few days. My 9 year old hood broke and I ran out of argon this morning while trying to finish up the front boxing plates over the notch. Doh! Gotta hit the welding shop tmw...

Andy, I complain when I have to put long pants on to go out to the garage. And socks - forget it. But you've set the standard for hard core get-er-done. So it's back out to work on my F1 panel, socks and all. Maybe it'll make it to the C****fest Cruise this summer.
