I think rodders journal did a page on re-pop hub caps and I remember seeing 57' cadillacs on that page.
McVey's used to. I don't know if they still do or not, you'll have to call them. http://www.mcveys.com/default.htm
May not be what you are looking for but I did a search on Ebay a while back and found quite a few, some repops, some old ones. Just FYI Mootz
try these guys i pretty sure they offer repop 57 caddy capsand keep some used somberos. http://www.allcads.com/
Not sure who makes repop caps, but if you don't find what ya need i have a set of 57 cady's for a driver i'd sell. Two are missing the center emblems which can be bought aftermarket ( or you could run bullits) and two are pretty dinged up around the outer lip from some ***** hammering them on a rim... If your interested send me a pm. Tony
The 56 caps a made for a reversed wheel . I have a set of 5 that are in really good shape i'd let go for 100 bucks and you pay the shipping. 57 caddy re pops are out there but kinda pricey.
Hey Bud, Rick at EXK makes them. They look awesome too. Well I should say he used to. I'm not 100% sure if he still makes them.. They are really cool... He's a HAMB-er
I don't know about the later ones, but the first generation sombreros attach to the center of the wheel, where a baby boon would fit. That means a wheel with the right design, and the right offset on the outer side of the wheel. Or, alternate methods of attachment have been devised.
just fyi 57 caps "arent sombreros". 49 50 are. some have a ring that snaps in the center like a dog dish does, and some have the fingers on the outside. the ones with the fingers on the outside fit the early chevy wheels. the dog dish style fit onto the chevy clips BUT, the hubcaps stick out from the wheel. so you need to modify the dish inside so it sits onto the wheel.
