We're putting this t-5 on the backside of a ybock and need to know what throw-out bearings will work. We have 3, some from a 223 and one from the yblock, but all of them are bad. So what do we use?

We used a new throw out brg for a Y Block. Don't know what your configuration is or if it makes any difference. Mine is a 292 Y Block, 90 Mustang T5, Mummert adapter plate, and new pilot gearing. Clutch plate has to be for the Mustang rather than for the Y Block. Required fabing a new cross member/****** mount and new drive shaft (longer). Also had to have a new speedometer cable.

It is worth every penny and every skinned knuckle!! Enjoy.

we have the madified bellhousing, y-block style pressure plate and mustang clutch. We are using a '84 SVO t-5. I was hoping that there was a more common throwout bearing for this, but I guess it's one more thing to order and wait for in the mail.

I used the Y-block throwout bearing in my setup. I believe I got it from the local O'Reillys parts house, think they even had it in stock.
