is the rumor true about this years show, that there will be a charge to get into the car show?

unfortunately this year i will not be attending. i've attended the last 4 yrs. my wife was a vendor up at the ballroom. this year should fill the top floor for sure.

  4. BURNOUT contest starts at 5 pm in the upper lot thursday night right? :)

OH DEAR, we'll have none of that.

Actually, if anyone wants to show up in Vegas that weekend with a bike, or car/personality too obnoxious for the casino lot, let me know.

I have a place that welcomes bikes and ***holes on the strip.

Big lot, cheap booze, cheaper ******s, bad neighborhood.

I'm not trying to start any ****, just offering a second stop, or alternative.

Anybody interested can PM me. If there is enough interest I'll make it happen.

Axle.....Someone saw a hot rod on my screen saver at work and they asked.

"Are you going to that thing in Las Vegas?"

They were not a car person but had heard of it, I agree this one sounds like
it will be huge. Good luck to you and the boys.

Man, I can't wait. Rooms should still be available. My girlfriend just booked our trip LAST WEEK. The flight from NY & back,4 nites at flimingo, transfers & touristy vouchers for less than $1100. You can still get good deals at the last minuite. See ya there.

I hate all of you..............another year we will be missing this makes me so freaking happy to live in WI.............

  10. Living in WI is no excuse, people have been managing to make it from around the globe for years, wish you could enjoy it with us.

This is the event I think about all winter up here in the Colorado high country. Pulled my Deuce out of mothballs last weekend and fired that Hemi up for the first time since November, gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling all over. After a long Colorado winter, spring fever is ignited by knowing VLV is coming soon. Coming in on Wednesday, lookin' forward to seeing everybody.

Anyone have any ideas of where to look for an available hotel room near by? I figure any very close have been booked forever. Is it a lost cause to try and find a room this late?

Mike...nowhere is that far away in Vegas, just get a cab, the strip isn't that big. Cool Danger Mouse avatar, by the way.

Ya...I'm sure there are rooms somewhere, there are so many hotels in Vegas. I might try and make it to the show, I'm still kicking myself for missing the lasy two.

Thanks...I thought it was a cool avatar too when I found it. I still remember watching that show when I was little.

Vegas has like 300,000 rooms, Viva is barely a bubble in the stew for the hotel room business for most of the town. You probably won't get a room next door but within 2 or 3 miles is a cinch.
