Has anyone fabricated or installed baffels in to their Sanderson small block Lakes? Or does anyone make baffels in the after market for them?

Car Chemistry makes inserts if you are talking about Sanderson Lime Fires.

  3. I built custom harley mufflers and have a lot of new baffles available to anyone needing them. They can easily be retofitted into most cone headers 20.00 each plus shipping......... baffles are 17 1/2" long so one cut in half works for most headers!!

I'm also looking for solutions for the too loud lakes headers! My cherry bombs slid into mine are still too loud.

Just an update on the baffles. I did order them from Car Chemistry and Ken was more than helpful. I had to modify the limefires a touch but they are in and installation was easy. I don't have them tuned yet but that is easy too. Thanks Guys

And in my opinion they will still be too loud and you may well get tired of the exhaust exiting right in front of or beside you.

My buddies experience was that way. A full exhaust under the car was his solution and made the car a whole lot more fun to drive, or to ride in for any length of time for that matter.

Well we still have that option dont we. If they are to offensive I will go the other route, but I am partialy def anyway and probably from loud pipes over the years. The real test will be wifey sitting in the car or maybe not as she likes em loud too...lol
