So if I stretch a model a frame about 7 inches to run the spring behind the axle; will I have enough room to modify the rear floor pan on a Model a Sedan? Just looking at pics of sedan bodies for sale I notice the rear crossmember is under the rear seat. Doesn't look like enough room to move it aft for a stretch frame. Same subframe as a roadster or coupe???

You could shorten the frame 7" and have the spring in front of the axle instead. This is what I am doing with a roadster right now. Although the xmember hump might now be under your rear p***engers feet in a sedan. Also a shorter frame is more ridged then a longer frame. Something to think about.

  3. Suicide rearend? LOL I like that Idea. With the frame lengthed 7 1/2 inches the frame needs to be notched for the rearend.
