Looks like a Freudian slip, there, son. I certainly understand. (Think you mean striped).

From checking everything out First Hand in Japan, I can say that without a doubt they are probably building the baddest stuff on the PLANET!!!

Japan is a wonderful country, filled with with brilliant people. The cars on this thread are amazing and I am honored that the Japanese people appreciate the American Hot Rod & Kustom scene. However I think that some of the Japanese people in these photographs might not fully understand the criminal element which they are emulating. I see some guys flashing gang signs... This I find disgusting, as it is unfortunately an aspect of American culture which is absolutely shameful. Too many misguided young Americans have been killed for this kind of crap (flashing gang signs). I do not believe the individuals in these photographs are bad people. I just think they are unaware of the tragic reality that lies behind the culture they are imitating. It is very sad to see people playing at this like it is a game of dress up.

This work of art is the best bobber (IMHO) that i have ever seen. Are their any more photos or info on this? Please tell me there is. Was this built by a shop in Japan or was it garage built? Forgive me. I have been staring at this photo for the last 4 days.

The dedication these guys must have is admirable. I cant imagine what it costs to build a car or even a bike over there. Hardcore for sure

  30. So where is the biggest scene for customs in Japan, somewhere like Tokyo or Yokohama?
