It is so far out of date you could never race it, would be cheaper to buy or build a new one but a nice car show car after restoration.

Maybe it's bad eyesight on my part, but that looks like a rear engine ch***is. Maybe one of those funky econo dragsters with front brakes and a line loc.

Sure looks like it's worth getting. Ya don't want to steal it from your pal, but maybe he'll give you a "bro" deal? I'd love to have something like that hanging in my shop! Did he mention what he wants for it?

Sure looks like a rear engine dragster in the first photo. If it has been sitting outside for any amount of time, I don't know that I'd want to strap myself in it even if you could somehow get it to p*** tech at your local strip.

Dont waste your time. Give the guy $5.00 and walk away from it-you will be ahead of the game.

  16. I'd almost guarentee the tubing has rusted from the inside out. Don't waist you time or money.

  17. Problem with old rails is just that, old rails. water gets into the tubing, rusts from the inside out. Not safe around here (Pacific Northwest) All welds would have to be x-rayed . Maybe use it as a pattern to make a new one .

Something doesn't look right , I'd leave it where it sits..hard enough to work with a ch***is that looks good..that one looks a little weird and rusty maybe....

  20. You'd have less money in one built from scratch. Might save your life too. Looks like it's were it belongs.

  21. I agree with it being a rear engine car ... and (not sure if it's the poor pic of what) the cage looks "wonky" as in bent. I'd p*** on it.
