The oddest thing about the story to me was listening to the newscasters.

Not one "Eh", and no accents. ;)

Falcon, that's Woking. Two more collapses today. A service station in Edmonton and a Brick furniture store in Leduc. Rain in Edmonton today, not good.

Contrary to popular misguided US opinion we do not have funny accents and say eh all the time.

Now when we go to Texas, now we are talking accent. My wife Jan is a Texan and we go down there regularly a couple times a year. How y'all doin ? Are you fixin to go out ? :D

    We don't say "eh"

    Americans say Uh-huh..

The proper resonse to "thank you" is "you're welcome", not a grunting sound.

the news today showed the recreation complex from the air.
It was a gymnasium sized room and the roof fell flat down!
The roof is on the floor throughout the room.
35 seniors were in the room when staff noticed the lights moving and noises from the ceiling,
they ushered the folks out JUST moments before it came down!
Raise a beer for the quick thinking staff who saved 40 lives!

It's been pretty rediculous, my roof on my house is not very steep and I was really sick for a while and could not go up thee to clean it off, about a week or so ago I finally decide I have to go up there because some of the trim inside was popping off... the snow was 3-4 feet deep on my roof, and once I finally got that off there was solid ice 8 inches thick, and that was causing a dam under the snow making my roof leak... tried to salt it to melt it, but salt wont do much when it's colder then -25... finally got the rest of it cleared off today though. But that first day I got the bulk off, the water that had gotten inside my walls and roof started to freeze, so much banging and popping... my house is in bad shape now.

That made me LOL! Iwas in a T-shirt all day today, it was +6 (42F)

Cute! They sound they way most everyone sounds up here, but I find the only time I use Eh is when I am with my American friends... it just slips out and we all laugh!

I was wondering why the Brick in Leduc was blocked off... luckily nobody was likely to be inside because their prices ****... $400 for a range hood? WTF?
