Well, I only watched it cuz it's the only chance I'll ever get to look around that particular yard out there(WV here) , I kinda knew someone was full of **** when the Chevelle 4 door parts car was advertised as a '64 , when indeed it was a '65 , you would think as much as these people fooled with vintage parts , they woulda knew that the two front ends are totally different , but , when the old man pulled up in the " '64 El Camino" you could tell it had yet another '65 front end on it also , so I guess if your gonna watch it for the luxury of just looking at vintage tin in the yard , then I guess it was worth it , but , I hope you're not watching it for real expert , hands-on professional content , cuz , at that point , then you have wasted an hour of your life...

I think he's working with Vanilla Ice on the HGTV show. Actually I think Blue Bear is a step up from the desert guys. What a stinker.

I cant believe nobody noticed the missing paint on the quarter, even after checking the brakes and after the color sanding and buffing they did, "completely restored" laugh my *** off, I don't see this show lasting to much longer........

I could only watch a few minutes of it. I was trying to figure out the target audience and all I could come up with was Beavis and ****head.

They are usually one of the first yards I call for sourcing used parts. A good crew to deal with. And it was great looking at the tin in the background. But the forced drama was stupid. "Gotta have it done in two weeks!". Why? They have an auction every couple weeks. As if they can't afford to float the car a couple weeks.

  22. I only watched it because I noticed a thread on it earlier today, so I was a little interested. I don't think I will watch it again.

I watched it for about 30 min..giving it a good opportunity to keep my attention before I Changed it to storage wars.. now thats a better show haha. I think this desert kings is a show for a local station late night. they do have a great yard and some awesome tin out there but man maybe they could have taken acting cl***es prior to filming the show..

Looks like they spent more money on changing the company logo, T-shirts, getting signs and vinyl posters stuck on the buildings than they did on tools. But that's what brings the posers in I suppose, merchandise!

Meh, I'll keep my head down and continue to build really nice stuff and hope these guys don't darken my doorway with an emergency fab job.
