What ever you do have a correct radiator made for the shell,it might cost a little more up front but it will look nice and not like something that is rigged togather. I have noticed alot of people using those much cheaper mustang radiators but to me it looks like it was built cheap with no thought, you can get by with those radiators if you are using a hood to hide it but if its going to be hood less the mustang radiator looks too tacking in a early grille shell.

early mustang radiator will fit, has right inlet and outlets and can be bought for around $100 new

stock radiators look better, cost more, even re-coring an original will typically run around $300

also keep in mind a 32 radiator on a 28 is not a direct fit like it is with the 30/31 model a, 28/29 model a's had a shorter radiator

I used a 32 shell over my walker model a rad. Made my own 3 piece hood. Smooth sides, no louvers, and does not over heat with the 302. Stock dropped headlight bar goes thru the 32 shell. I did this by cutting it in two, threading the bar on one end, welding a long bolt in the other. The long bolt was indexed so when it was screwed together the two halves where tight and headlights sit straight up. A small washer can be used as a shim to dial it in.
