Here's a new project I just picked up. Really didn't like the headlight treatment at first but the more I look at it the more I like it. 3" top chop with a lot of molding in. The work looks top notch from a shop in Central Fl. The grill bars are just setting in place and are a little off in the pics. Problay not HAMB material with the headlights and wheels but imagine it dropped hard with some steel wheels.
The work looks good, should be a nice car when done, but I cringe every time I see another set of old fenders that's ruined with those lights, It shouldn't be too hard to find different "new" fenders and make it right; would be a very nice ride!
I also dont like the headlights, but hey alot of people dont like what im doing to my AD truck either .They look to be off a Mercedes .I do like the chop and tailights though ...
Chop looks just right! I'm surprised no one like the lights! Ok, I'm not- they're terrible! Easily fixed though!
I hear ya on the lights. If I use them it will have to be a street rod. Anyone have a good set of 1949 Dodge Coronet front fenders?
Those lights, oh lord. Otherwise, with some steel wheels that thing has potential. Mopar all the way.
That chop looks fantastic. Much better than I pictured it in my head when I read the title. I do agree with most everyone else though, the headlights have to go.
I thought about those lights when i done my 49 wayfarer.sure glad i skip them.frenched mine with new style headlights. must have nice bumpers?
