Jalopy Joe In Ventura Has Passed

Just got word that Jalopy Joe owner of Jalopy Joe's Speed Shop in Ventura p***ed away after an illness. Sorry to hear that...

Wow, sorry to hear that. I'm working on a '29 roadster for a H.A.M.B. member that he purchased from him this last summer. Has all of his logos and markings on the doors.

 

Sad news. Losing alot of rod/kustom guys in the last year

Gonna miss you Joe! Joe loved cruising around Ventura like no one else! Used to see him all over town in his early Vette or riding his Indian. Then it was the 35 sedan, the roadster and the boattail. He really enjoyed driving his cars and I always thought that was cool!
