Plenty of fine examples here on the HAMB with same body/ frame color that I don't find "street rodderish". Just sayin...

I agee that body color on the frame is not too Street Rodderish. In fact alot of the cars that were featured in "Hot Rod", "Custom Cars","Rod N Custom" Magazines in the mid to late 50's had body colored frames.I'm leaning torwards Black however...

I third this color. I did it on my car and it looks good with any color body or any color engine/suspension.

If it's fenderless I would go with the same color as the body. But, since it's a metallic paint, that may put it in the "streetrod" category.

Black would be my next preference.
