I have a 1968 dodge dart 270 that im trying to make into a mild custom. It still has stock leaf springs. My goal is the rear end give it a tail dragger look. Now im not a fabricator on any level. So what are my options? Do ditch the leaf springs? If so, how do I install a four link suspension? Because I want this slammed at shows.

Hard to say? How much do you wanna drive it?

If its not bagged, you'll being hearing all kinds of delightful noises if you want it that low.

Its not a daily driver. Well, I dont know how to fabricate a four link.

  4. for simplicity's sake, dearched leaf springs and/or lowering blocks.

More than 4" lower than stock in the rear usually requires c-notching the rails above the rear axle and driveshaft tunnel raising.

Flipping the leaf spring hangers will give you about a 1 1/2 drop in the rear for free. you'll have to slightly slot the mounting holes in the body to get the hanger to bolt in upsidedown.
