    I've got the iron gt40 heads for my 302 motor plan on using a comp cam roller kit and expect about 350Hp and 350ft lbs. I'm running 3 2g rochesters on a blue thunder 3-2 intake.

    I took the opinion of a trusted long-time FOMOCO engine builder and ordered a set of evilBay Pro-Comps. Under $600.00 delivered. Chinese cr-- , but it will be interesting to see how well they lineup/ work.
    I have Victor SR's on my big-inch stroker, but haven't got it in the car yet, so all is speculation on both choices.

    All I do is Ford and Ford performance products. My 2 cents are these;

    Great street heads are, AFR, Trick Flow Twisted Wedge and Edelbrock, all aluminum. If you wanted a good steel head the World products steels are very good quality.

    Bad head = Pro Comp! Stay away, far away!

    My opinion would be to call each manufacturer and lay down your components and vehicle intent as well as price range. They will steer you in the right direction all the way around. Then make the final educated decision all on your own.

    Its your money and these things arent cheap. Good luck and have fun!

    don't waste your money on stock heads or gt 40. edelbrock rpm's or AFR 's dart jr , tfs street heats. but if your not lookin to go real fast gt 40x will work ok.

  6. I had Iron Windsor Jrs with roller rockers on my 66 Shelby 289. Decent price and they seemed to work pretty well. I'm thinking they were worth 40 hp over the old hipo 289 heads.
